Tiny house floor plans

Alice is one of our bigger tiny house plans for sale. It is a timber frame construction with a very classical look and with front porch, sleeping loft and a steep gable roof. Its most striking and best feature is a generous living room, which benefits from full glass front façade bringing all the light in while providing great views, main entrance to the house and direct access from inside to the front porch, from where you can enjoy it on fresh air and sunlight. Although the main room is spacious, able to incorporate living room social space, smaller dining table and storage spaces, there is still left enough room at the back part of Alice for a bathroom and kitchenette, located next to each other divided by wall. On top of that is a sleeping loft overlooking entire interior space as well as having a window and a skylight to enjoy its own views outside of house and of the sky. The loft is also spacious, so next to the bed there is still free space, where you could even fit a table with chair and have a little study.

Construction PDF plans

Named after famous pin-up girl Alice White, Alice is a typical timber frame structure, which is filled with mineral wool working as an insulation saving heating costs. Its symmetrical gable roof creates a double height ceiling space in the main living room, which makes you feel pleasant inside and allows you to enjoy a plenty of daylight, as the entire front façade up to the roof peak is made of glass. It has incorporated high large-wing doors and when they are open, the porch with the interior merge into one complex and lovely space. Horizontal shading is attached in front of the upper part of front façade protecting Alice from direct sunlight and strong heat. On the other side of the tiny house is a three section window in the loft area, which is accessible through ladder in the middle of it and can benefit from two skylights as well. Storage spaces are placed all over one side of Alice into wall niches. With its complex design and effective space solution, Alice tiny house plans are a great choice! Do not forget you can always adjust our small house blueprints according to your own preferences or even use them as an inspiration for your own ideas.

what exactly is the exterior of this house? I love this layout and design!! trying to think of a different stair configuration that would allow my dog access to the loft??

Support

Exterior is formed by grid of battens which are fixed to the insulated board (OSB/plywood)

I love this!! When I start making enough money to purchase a piece of land, this is the tiny house I want on it. I like having an outdoor bathroom, but in the winters I think it would be nice to have some slight mods to incorporate a toilet and dryer. Keep up the great work Joshua.

HI, is the big window in the Alice a sliding glass door? How much insulation is there for that window, is it double pane, or single? Also is it possible to put in a Pocket Door at the bathroom, instead of a regular one? I also love the murphy bed in the living room idea that another person posted.

Yes, big window has sliding glass door. I prefer double pane and the bathroom pocket door as you mentioned.

Could the Alice have more skylights added? Such as 2 in the rear, and perhaps two in the front? Also large windows comparable
to the front on both sides of the front to add a wrap around view?

All these adjustments are possible. If you require any further information, feel free to contact me via email. thank you

Does the home incorporate full size appliances and kitchen fixtures? or do the plans require small apartment sized ones? Also, are all those cubby holes built into the plans as well? or can some be ommited for more furniture space? I would love to fit a murphy bed into that first floor somewhere.

About how much will it cost to have professionals to build it for you? I would rather have it done correctly and on time, and do you mind if you could post a picture of the bathroom?

Support
1 year 5 months ago

Hi Ronny,
I guess the cost would rise by one third to 40K USD. I will add the picture of the bathroom hopefully during the next week.

I love this tiny house! Does one of the lower cabinets in the kitchen hide a small refrigerator by chance or is it to the left of the entrance of the kitchen?

Support
1 year 6 months ago

Hi Tina!
The refrigerator is planned to be placed on the left of the entrance but it can be easily modified according to your choice.
